Our History

TransFund was organized in 1976 in Tulsa, Oklahoma as a proprietary ATM network. At that time, only TransFund cardholders could use the six TransFund ATMs scattered throughout the city.

As the popularity of the cards and machines grew, other financial institutions had interest in sharing the ATMs and issuing TransFund cards to their customers. In 1980, TransFund began offering ATM services to other financial institutions in the area.

Today, TransFund has grown to become one of the top ATM and debit card networks in the country, offering its full range of quality EFT products to hundreds of banks and credit unions.
